Same position as NiSource -- Companies split.Accountable for maintaining flow of natural gas in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner. Monitor and assess pipeline conditions utilizing remotely operated regulators and valves for compression of a 15K mile system that is one of the largest underground storage systems in the U.S. Work with a variety of computer systems and programs such as SCADA, Outage Calendar, Nominations, and Storage Priorities. Record and maintain pertinent data and shift activities, and address action items requiring immediate attention. Communicate daily with field personnel on any operational needs or issues relative to system plan. Identify system needs hours ahead of schedule, and make appropriate adjustments in conjunction with other System Controllers to meet operational goals and schedules.Notable Achievements:Serve as a valued resource and liaison to staff at all levels on daily operational plans, programs, processes and procedures. Work 12-hour rotating shifts covering weekends and holidays.Manage multiple tasks and functions at once and meet all project and program deliverables.Analyze, evaluate, organize, and maintain a large volume of data in an efficient, effective manner.Completed intensive company training and acquired certifications for 4 out of 5 sectors.

Received and responded to a high volume of incoming calls from a 10-state territory. Recorded and responded to calls that consisted of possible gas leaks or odors, landowners with right-of-way questions, distribution customers on billing issues, and Robot Dialers that reported on problems at compressor stations, substance releases, occupational injuries, and vehicle accidents. Addressed any verbal requests from Gas Control that included station alarms, engine faults, and requests for settings to be checked and verified.Notable Achievements:Applied Incident Management Plan as warranted from Monitoring Center as per any emergency situations.Handled and prioritized multiple tasks and functions while meeting demanding timelines and schedules.

Served as primary point-of-contact for Performance Management process. Developed and administered training programs, and updated information on processes and procedures for intercompany communications. Reviewed and assessed company-wide employee surveys for corporate and departmental trends. Compiled data, analyzed and reported on results, and maintained files/records. Notable Achievements:Created all training materials for Managers and Supervisors on Performance Management process.Served as facilitator for the Root Learning Maps, participated in Train-the-Trainer sessions, and acquired keen insight into the gas industry, Columbia, and customer base.
