• Governs a diverse slate of more than 40 independent feature films, shorts, television, branded and digital projects as the Owner and Principal of a Los Angeles production company. Drives project development through post production.• Reinforces the company vision and brand, promotes a positive company culture, and maintains profitability while delivering first-class entertainment. Script Development & Production• Sources scripts, books, articles, and original material. Crafts and makes pitches with screenwriters to network and cable television outlets, studio heads, and independent financiers to obtain financing. • Furnishes guidance and extensive notes for script rewrites and final drafts. • Executive produce, produce, and line produce for top studios, networks, and producers including Nickelodeon, Icon, Sony, and Astronauts Wanted, forming lasting business relationships. Productions have been recognized or premiered at festivals including Cannes and Tribeca.• Effectively collaborates with studio, network, and producer representatives, ensuring priority alignment and optimal resource allocation. Budget and Crew & Project Management• Prepares and carefully administers complex production budgets ranging from $250K to $20M, adhering to creative, studio needs, and fiscal constraints by reviewing P&Ls. Approves legal contracts. • Hires, onboards, schedules, and manages more than 250-person high performing, union crew members and teams of writers, directors, editors, cinematographers, and costume designers among other personnel. • Launches operational practices that maximize on set efficiency, communication, and productivity. • Creates and oversees project schedules and meets with producers, writers, actors, and staff on a regular basis to assure on time productions. Contributes to final product marketing.
