In this role, I lead the customer and a small technical team through a wide range of tasks, including pre-launch analysis, hardware selection, requirements verification and mission assurance reviews, while driving the schedule and running the integration campaign at the launch site. Both technical and people-focused, I like to build long-term customer relationships built on trust, results and successful launch campaigns!At Spaceflight, I have experience preparing customers and satellites to launch on most rockets around the world, including SpaceX Falcon 9, Arianespace Vega, Rocket Lab Electron, Astra, Northrup Grumman Antares, and India's PSLV.Active certification for Motorized Lightband (MLB) separation systems.

Orbit design and constellation coverage - developed comprehensive models to evaluate and optimize constellations of up to 1,000 satellites. Evaluated system trades that included factors such as satellite altitude & inclination, satellite footprint size, effective ground coverage, and space radiation. The solutions met system requirements, minimized complexity and cost, and maximized coverage and performance.Power model - combining the orbital profile, solar array performance degradation and end-of-life (EOL) power requirements, I created a model to provide solar array sizing and battery sizing. Coordinated among engineering teams and subsystem analyses such as the payload designers, bus designers, thermal analysis to track changes and update the solar array and battery design.Space environment analysis and modeling - evaluated radiation levels for various orbital altitudes and inclinations, evaluated radiation-tolerant COTS products suitable for the mission. Worked with NASA GSFC Space Radiation group to get the latest COTS product information based on their lab testing and analysis. Responsible for identifying and communicating the hazards to spacecraft due to orbital debris and space radiation within the trade space.
