DOD Financial Management Certification Level 2. Provide financial direction and guidance to civilian and military personnel on acquisition program budgeting, financial management and accounting. Monitor the execution of approved budgets to ensure they meet pre-established goals and guidelines. Assist management with the financial review and assessment of programs to ensure fiscal law, principles and procedures are followed for Acquisition Programs within the DoD 5000 framework. Recommend appropriate usage for the Research, Development, Test and Evaluation Budget Activities and Procurement appropriations required by acquisition programs. Communicate with management to inform of major problems in the development of all budget requirements for specific acquisition programs and projects.
