Drawing on experience working with organizations in all phases of the nonprofit evolution, from early-stage to established forces in their field, I help those seeking to assess, enhance or fundamentally change their fundraising programs. My experience centers around creating and managing the implementation of fundraising plans, guiding capital campaigns, building donor prospect lists and leadership pipelines, designing major gift engagement and solicitation strategies and strengthening the staff and board’s roles as ambassadors and relationship builders. Since founding Just Cause in 2015, we have worked with nearly 60 Chicago-area and national nonprofit organizations whose missions span education, environment, social justice, health, human rights, arts and culture and more. We know that each organization has its own culture, and each team of leaders has its own distinct style. We take the extra time to reach deep and consider all the pieces of the puzzle, and we avoid using templates or one-size-fits-all recommendations that miss the unique nature of the organization.
