Sometimes our path in life seems preordained. Lisa’s road tripping began with her birth in Williamsburg, Virginia. Two years later, she was off to Long Island for a ten-year gig. At 12, the beaches of San Diego beckoned her family. With adulthood came wanderlust, and Lisa traded flip-flops for mukluks in Minneapolis, anchoring her life through the Minnesota Opera Chorus and later as a soloist at Plymouth Congregational Church. Temptedby tarmac and blacktop, she also toured the U.S. and Europe with The Rose Ensemble for twelve years while supporting her musical career with a successful website business, Websites for a Song. Now retired from web design, Lisa’s on a new road trip, capturing the kitsch, the comic, and the lost classics scattered across the backroads of the Midwest through her lens and artistic vision. It’s the beginning of a heartfelt journey of discovery, blending photography and digital painting, and she hopes you are drawn in by this unique taste of the familiar and the forgotten.Enjoy!
