Implement, maintain and provide user support for energy utility client’s software including managing all facets of applications, software, databases and hardware. Manages system development life cycle / SDLC from gathering user requirements, writing specifications, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.• Continue to develop ad-hoc PL/SQL queries, as well as stored procedures and scheduled query execution using batch file and VB.NET executables in combination with PL/SQL query and/or stored procedure execution.• Provide superior customer service to client by ensuring high availability of all supported software – with support scope from application front-end code to back-end relational databases.• Reduced operating expenses by a minimum of 500 hours per year by implementing scheduler component to automate loading of coal mine manifest data into supported application.• Decreased support / trouble calls for applications by 75% in last 2 years by various process improvement techniques.
