Starbucks is the world’s largest coffeehouse chain, dedicated to inspiring the human spirit one person, cup and neighborhood at a time. Through the creation and implementation of end-to-end communications strategies, I help foster trust, increase awareness and build partner (employee) equity in a business capabilities program focused on streamlining how employees source, contract, buy from and pay suppliers. I serve as content strategist to amplify the Starbucks mission to protect people, animals and the planet through ethical and responsible sourcing practices. I develop and integrate compelling narratives, engaging stories and aligned messaging across Starbucks communications ecosystem to ground project initiatives in the organizations mission and and drive change.

College Success Foundation is a nonprofit providing underserved students with integrated support and scholarships to finish high school and graduate college.Advised shifting program communication needs, including social media marketing during organization-wide restructure. Developed social media content and strategy across eight channels to grow awareness of organization’s mission, increase enrollment and improve community engagement.

Puget Sound Energy is Washington state’s largest utility provider of electric power and natural gas.Developed and executed proactive and reactive communication campaigns around major projects to build or repair utility infrastructure. Teased out technical information and refined into clear, concise messaging for internal and external stakeholders. Helped to shape public opinion around an evolving energy industry while striving to achieve the very best for PSE customers.

Star Island is a conference center hosting 65+ annual seminars and retreats on a historic island in the Gulf of Maine. Wrote and executed promotional campaigns for the corporation, as well as 10 conferences annually. Spearheaded a grassroots marketing campaign to engage new and lapsed conferees which aided in a 14% increase in enrollment, reaching the highest enrollment rate of the organization’s history. Lead organization events, including a 200+ person sailing regatta festival and lecture series. Increased event revenue by 26% over the previous year through corporate sponsorship and ticket sales.

Coordinated and executed production of marketing publications, including an annual newsletter, re-engaging 400% more constituents over the previous year. Wrote and managed content for 50+ page website for multiple audiences, including guests, staff, program leaders and the public. Created monthly email campaigns engaging 13,000+ constituents.

UNH is New Hampshire’s flagship public research institution, student population of 15,000+.Ghostwrote acknowledgment letters on behalf of the President of the Foundation. In collaboration with the Donor Relations team, conceptualized and created events to cultivate, recognize, and steward major donors, prospects and alumni.

Lead the coordination of quarterly board meetings and retreats for a 20+ person board of c-suite executives. In collaboration with the Donor Relations team, successfully increased donor outreach by 10% over the previous year through personalized recognition materials, impact reports, board publications and special events.

NHHS is an nonprofit organization preserving New Hampshire’s history since 1823.First line of customer engagement for the Society and Library by answering phones and greeting patrons. Managed an annual tourism raffle program, working closely with hotels, businesses, and vendors throughout the state. Ensured accurate gift and data processing.
