• Responsible for providing operational and strategic direction with the ability to foster relationships at all levels by establishing and working collaboratively with other teams and business partners. • Responsible for managing the day to day operational aspects of Human Resources, including Payroll, projects and process improvements. Payroll and Timekeeping• Oversee the accurate calculation and payment of salaries, wages, complex commissions, bonuses, and taxes, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations across several U.S. states. • Manage payroll related activities including but not limited to liens, garnishments, tax changes, timekeeping exports, check exceptions, leave accrual adjustments and PTO payouts.• Ensure internal audit processes and procedures are in place to support payroll, systems and operational data integrity.• Manage fiscal and calendar year-end processing of all payroll and timekeeping year end close out.• Manage the wiring of funds and payment of invoices for vendors. Compliance • Manage the administration of all payroll and timekeeping related activities and records in accordance with company policy and all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Partner with finance, audit, compliance and legal as needed. Manage and Coach• Manage and coach employees/contractors looking for growth opportunities, engagement in projects and initiatives as well as assignments.• Monitor quality of work to ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
