As a member of the Entertainment Marketing team at Citi, I helped conceive, develop and manage Life and Money by Citi, a consumer website that publishes personal finance, travel, culture and well-being content.

I help businesses of all sizes and from numerous sectors achieve messaging and branding goals with expertly researched, elegantly written content. My recent portfolio includes an array of digital and print projects, including website copywriting, content marketing, longform articles, research- and interview-based articles, social media and email campaigns, internal and external communications, and sales presentations. Specialty areas include B2B, healthcare and wellness, ecommerce and luxury/lifestyle.

In each of these projects, I researched complex subject matter and created fun-to-read explainer content for two Popular Science special print publications. Hydraulics, bioluminescence, the International Space Station, binary language programming, the Mars Rover and hieroglyphics are just a few of the fascinating topics I explored for PopSci readers. A fantastic project all the way around!

I worked in the Office of Financial Affairs and reported directly to the CFO and the Director of Financial Planning, earning progressively greater responsibilities as time passed. Before I left the school to spend more time with my family, I managed the enrollment, tuition, and fees budgets and forecast processes as well as prepared the Board of Trustees presentation on behalf of the CFO. I developed and analyzed numerous complicated performance reports, including allocating income among each of NYIT's academic schools, a politically and computationally difficult process. I also performed common finance functions such as variance analyses and other ad hoc analyses, and assisted in the preparation of the school's general budget.

I began working at CMP Media as a Commissions Analyst in 1999, and transferred to the Information Technology group by the end of the year after I earned a promotion to Associate Financial Analyst. I worked in the IT group as a budget analyst, and earned another promotion shortly afterward. After my manager moved to a different part of the company, I took over the budget and forecast process for the group, including expense, capital, and headcount.
