I have facilitated a range of processes to enable productive organisational learning. Assignments I'm especially proud of and grateful for: • Transformational Learning facilitator for Healthy Food, Healthy Planet - transforming the food system• Team and department development for several organisations including VSO Netherlands, FreePress Unlimited, National Police of the Netherlands, University of Leiden, Free University of Amsterdam, Erasmus University Rotterdam.• Accompaniment for the organisational and program approach for The Human Rights Institute for The Netherlands, Clingendael Institute and The National Rapporteur on sexual abuse and human trafficking and VSO Netherlands. This includes the development of Theory of Change.MEL advisor participatory narrative research CIVIC Horizons program with youth in the MENA region• Lead facilitator for Grensverleggers. A (MDT) programme for young people to create small but transformational projects in the social domain in their neighbourhood.• Lead facilitator for the Transformative Futures for Water Security dialogues by the International Water Management Institute, including youth stewardship, 7 regional online multi-stakeholder dialogues and 1 international participatory event.• Training of the board of Youth Peace Initiative in Deep Democracy• Co-initiator of the 2 year ACT Academy for young human rights activistsDevelopment, design and implementation of the Barometer for Women Peace and Security for Cordaid. A monitor for bringing voices of women and youth in peace processes facilitated by story-telling.

Netherlands

As co-founder I bring in recognized expertise in monitoring, evaluation and adaptive learning. I developed the first on-line sensemaking platforms during the mid-nineties and learned a lot since then.

Amsterdam

• Design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools• Coordination of filling the Partos self-reflection tool: ‘quality house’• Implementation of quality systems and procedures • Analyses of evaluation results for international donors and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands

- Developed an integrated learning monitoring and evaluation system, that was adopted as best practice by the Dutch ministry of foreign affairs- Coached and trained local partners in the facilitation and implementation of monitoring and evaluation for learning- Implemented the system in the following countries: Tanzania, Ghana, Uganda, Zambia, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Ecuador- Facilitated over 15 focus group meetings- Analysis and draft write up of evaluation results in booklet form: Sectors: agricultureCountries: Bolivia and Tanzania IICD's effectiveness- Developed and co-writer of the toolkit 'Evaluation of information services and products' with the community of practice LEAP Impact (www.bellanet.org/leap/impact). Organisations participating were a.o. European evaluation society, KIT and CTA.- Guided ad-hoc evaluations of both IICD supported projects and IICD's effectiveness- Maintained relationship with the IICD supporting organisations HIVOS, SDC, CordAid and the Dutch ministry concerning issues on monitoring and evaluation

Developed and coordinated the Global teenager project for integration of ICT in the curriculum of secondary schools in 20 countries, both developing as developed countries (www.globalteenager.org) Coordinated the Johan Kooij Fellowship which provided funds for the coordinators of the Global Teenager project to capacitate themselves in different facets of the integration of ICT in the curriculum in secondary schoolsDevelopment and facilitated the Johan Kooij Fellowship training in 1999 and 2000 for Global Teenager coordinatorsCoordinated the Adopt-a-School plan where companies, a.o. KPN and Lucent, donated funds to set up a computer lab for schoolsManaged ICT Stories: collecting and sharing best practices on ICT for sustainable development. This project was developed in cooperation with InfoDev - department of the Worldbank
