Lorenzo Thomas is an Award-Winning Radio Personality who is a very creative, personable talent. He is known to many as an energetic broadcast professional with expertise in providing entertainment and engaging content on-air. The native New Yorker has navigated his career up and down the east-coast working markets such as Petersburg, Richmond, and Norfolk, Virginia. With the desire to grow his career, Lorenzo moved to the D.M.V. area and worked at V 103 in Baltimore, Maryland, and later Kiss-FM in Washington DC.During his tenure at 93.9 WKYS, he started his clothing for Women, known as the Lorenzo Collection. Lorenzo built such a massive following while on the radio and working as voice-over personality and host at B.E.T.Lorenzo took advantage of his engaging personality and intimate conversations with musicians, actors, and politicians. So charming that people would follow him to any club hosted in the D.M.V. and to another country. While working on-air, Lorenzo became a travel agent and started a travel group, which helped propel his popularity and created a loyal fan base of listeners on and off the air. The Jamaica Jump-off, known as Lorenzo's Birthday Bash, continued for 11 years. As Lorenzo's career L.I.T. up the airwaves on WEDR 99 Jamz in Florida, he became one of the most popular personalities on the radio. Lorenzodominated the ratings and became the #1 Afternoon Personality in Miami. Thus, Ice-Tea decided he was unhappy with the direction of terrestrial radio. His Television demo illustrates the full range of artists he has interviewed over his career. Lorenzo likes to get answers to the questions my audience would like to ask. Thus, the question he would ask himself, "am I happy." As a result, Lorenzo decided to become his boss. He was skilled as a radio-television correspondent, but his knowledge of streaming and digital platforms made his direction inevitable.Lorenzo concluded it was time to own and operate his radio station and launched Live from the M.I.A... Today, Lorenzo owns 100 Hip Hop and R.N.B. FM radio. It is an urban formatted digital radio station that rates #1 in Google's search for R.N.B. and Hip Hop and recently debuted on the iHeart Radio platform.
