I use questionnaires and follow-up phone calls to collect rich, qualitative feedback that I then translate into a summary report of an individual's strengths and growth areas.

Teaching necessarily involves selecting reading assignments and class topics, creating writing and assessment projects, preparing lectures, and grading student work.Research: I published four articles while at Pepperdine, ranging from social movements to political theater to global culture. My research employed comparative historical analysis and document content analysis. Three of my projects were collaborative efforts with undergraduate students, which allowed me to teach them the research process, from design and literature review to data collection and analysis to writing about and presenting on the results.Service: While at Pepperdine, I was deeply committed to service to both the sociology program and student affairs. I worked to build the sociology major program, as well as design and conduct the annual program assessment. I performed academic advising and wrote letters of recommendation for dozens of students.
