Yoga for Addiction, Vinyasa Power Flow, Yinki, Restorative Yoga, Master Reiki Teacher, Meditation Teacher, Healing from Within Mentor - Tranquility Wellness Center. Liz has been teaching Yoga since 2010 and has a 200 hour Vinyasa Power Flow through Core Power Yoga and 30 hour Yinki ( yin yoga with Reiki) through Tranquility Wellness Center certifications. She has taught over 1500 hours of yoga class to date .Her students experience a compassionate, encouraging and safe yoga class aimed at all levels. She most enjoys reminding students yoga is not about the ego but one’s relationship with their breath and being present. One can find clarity and strength from this perspective.At Casa Palmera Rehabilitation Center for Addiction, Liz meets the student where they are at and this could mean a wide variety of things. As patients go through the process of recovery, Yoga is an ideal way of facilitating this journey. In the 12 step program they say addiction is a threefold disease - mental, physical and spiritual. Yoga is unique because it is able to help in all of these areas. Liz is an Integrative Energy Healer and Healing from Within Mentor through Tranquility Wellness Center. The wisdom she has gained from being a Healing from Within Mentor allows her students to feel safe, supported and understood. She holds space for the student where they are at, whatever they might be going through, allowing students to detach from their ego-identification and access non reactivity in times of stress.
