In my role as Operations Coordinator with SheJumps I manage general accounting systems, manage internal documentation processes and SOPs, support insurance documentation, and respond to public inquiries. In my day to day, I analyze our internal systems for efficiency by taking point on developing our data systems for reporting on key metrics across the organization. I also work within the team to develop Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion curriculum that I facilitate with our volunteers.My unique background in outdoor education led me to gain exceptional people skills - whether acting as a manager or peer - my 10 years dedicated to this field showed me how to manage people through stressful physical and social situations, all while maintaining psychological and emotional safety. I learned how to manage staff, students, and faculty and can now tactfully balance stakeholders in business. My field positions let me blend my passion for people, the outdoors, and creating equitable& inclusive spaces for all. Now, I am pivoting into office work to continue this work further behind the scenes.

In my role as a Logistics Coordinator with Chadwick School, I managed daily programmatic operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional outdoor education experiences to 300+ students in grades 7 - 12. I worked on a small, collaborative team striving for a shared vision, autonomy, and collaborative work ethic. Together with our program leadership team, we executed various assigned special projects to accomplish short and long-term programmatic goals for staff and students. In my day-to-day role, I directly managed scheduling, lodging, and vehicle logistics for all programs, staff, and students. When not working as a Logistics Coordinator, I would step in as an instructor to work with student groups on their trips, focusing on leadership development, social skills, and conflict resolution.

While working with Youth Educational Services I directed the LEAP (Leadership Education Adventure Program) program. This program served local Humboldt County youths by providing low-barrier and low-cost access to the outdoors via inclusive and educational programming. As a Program Director, I managed a team of 30-40 volunteers, developed programming with external contacts, facilitated fundraising events, and oversaw trip operations.
