I was head designer for the historic Plaza Hotel and Casino and I was responsible for the graphic design of various materials for promotions, print and web. Collateral includes but is not limited to mailers, ads, invitations, signage, billboards, logos and duratrans. I was fortunate have full creative license on many promotions and the rest was very much a hands-on team collaboration by the Marketing Department. I wore many hats a day, from running production work to art direction. Working for the Plaza was not like the mega resorts, but did let me grow as a designer, teacher and leader. To this day I still consider the Plaza a true dream job.

Graphic design, illustration and photography services. After a 6 year hiatus, I resurrected my freelance work. I focused on other soloprenuers, small business and individuals, grass-roots and non-profit work.

I was responsible for the graphic design of various materials for internal clients and this includes designing new materials and updating existing materials. Materials included but are not limited to ads, invitations, signage, billboards, banquet menus, logos and duratrans. I also assisted with the maintenance of our library of logos and photography. My duties also included photographing different aspects of our properties to assist the design team in renderings and collateral which in turn supports our Director and VP of Advertising and some of the photography has been published.

I was responsible for the graphic design of various corporate and healthcare materials for our internal clients pertaining to BCBSM subscribers and our own employees. Materials included but not limited to brochures, signage, annual reports, logos, and illustration. I was also a part of BCBSM photography staff and our duties included class pictures for disadvantaged kids, BCBSM Corporate events, historical events within the company and thus serving as documentation for. Lastly, designed the template for the book A Body of Work as well as a contributing photographer.

I was a contracted Graphic Designer with Aquent for BCBSM and was hired-in.

I was responsible for the graphic design of various materials for external clients for our sales department. Materials included but not limited to brochures, signage, annual reports, logos, and illustration. Duties also included pre-flighting supplied art, running negatives and burning plates.

We also produced a monthly local magazine, Lansing City Limits, that we created advertising for as well as participated in the illustration and layout of each publication.
