Heading up Maintel’s R&D Team, developing industry leading cloud services and propositions for our customers and partners. I am currently a Technical Design Authority at Maintel, primarily specializing in the installation and design of new hosted voice cloud services across Mitel, VMware, Microsoft Skype for business, Avaya, and cloud based technologies. I am responsible for, the development and design of these voice services, and support, install and maintain the virtual infrastructure that is resides on. My roll has many different elements including engineering, pre-sales and technical consultancy and development of new products and cloud based services.

I am currently a Principal infrastructure engineer at Maintel, primarily responsible for the development of our ICON hosted platform and cloud services. I also specialise in the installation and design of new UC Services across this platform Utilising Mitel, VMware, Microsoft Skype for business, Avaya IPO and other cloud based technologies. My roll has many different elements including engineering, pre-sales and technical consultancy and development of new products and cloud based services. I am very experienced on working on large UC deployments, with users ranging from 1,000 to 8,000 users for both public and private sector customers, producing designs, implementing and migrating new solutions and virtual infrastructures. I also provide consultancy for customers on these technologies.I am a certified VMware VCA-DCV and currently working towards gaining my VCP-DCV certification. I am experienced in deploying VMware HP visualized infrastructure and data center deployments, iSCSI SAN architecture, Active directory, McAfee ePO server, vCentre, and many more management applications.I am experienced in delivering SIP services into networks and installing multiple different vendors SBC’s in order to deliver SIP services, including Avaya E-SBC (Formally Sipera), Ingate, and I am also a certified SATP on the Sonus SBC 1000 and 2000 productsI have lots of experience with integrating and migrating legacy VOIP estates with Microsoft products including OCS 2007, Lync 2010, Lync 2013 and Skype for business and providing SIP services and SBC's to service these environments. I have completed both Microsoft Skype for business 336, and 337 courses.I am also responsible for, and manage a development lab to provide customer demonstrations and to develop new products and service offerings for cloud services within the ICON platformI am certified in all of Mitel’s current product range, from UCA, Core telephony, Unified messaging and Contact center applications.

My roll at Annodata was sales based looking after an existing customer base and also developing new business, specializing in UC, and mobile solutions. My responsibility were to maintain customer relationships and generate new revenue streams within the existing customer baseThis roll gave me a good understanding of commercials within projects and the sales process.

I was a Mitel Principal engineer, specializing in the installation and design of all Mitel’s core systems and applications for large and complex networks with over 10 years experience working on voice networks.I am certified in all of Mitel’s current product range, from UC, Core telephony and Contact center applications, and also have had lots of experience with Microsoft OCS and Lync 2010 integration projects. I am experienced in delivering SIP connectivity into networks and installing multiple different vendors SBC’s (Session border controllers) in order to deliver SIP services.Although I am primarily a lead engineer and TDA (Technical Design Authority) on new solutions, my role is varied and includes design, consultancy and pres sales elements
