I graduated from Eastern Idaho Technical College in 2022 with two associate degrees, one in Information Technology and one in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity. During my last year in college, I gained valuable experience as an IT Intern at Walsh Engineering, one of the Idaho National Laboratory's primary contractors. There, I supported the IT infrastructure and operations, troubleshooting and resolving various technical issues, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of hardware and software. Since October 2023, I have worked as an IT Operations & Support Analyst with the Idaho Office of Information Technology Services. My work with the state gives me the chance to work on a broad range of IT issues. Much of my work includes computer configuration and deployment, troubleshooting network access/connectivity, hardware diagnosis and repair, software installation/configuration/maintenance, customer service via phone/email/on-site visits in a wide geographic area, coordinating with teams across the state on a variety of issues, and more. I’m proud to support my amazing team at ITS and the work our agency does to modernize the State of Idaho’s IT infrastructure.
