Started as an intern, became a desktop support specialist, then worked on the managed services team to monitor and support varied networks and Windows based servers and workstations. Typically deals with "tier 2" issues including working with Active Directory, Sonicwall and Cisco firewalls, troubleshooting/configuring Exchange, configuring vpns, worked with Mxlogic/Spam Soap on mail issues, worked with SQL, setup blackberries, and lots of different custom client applications. Other responsibilities include handling the helpdesk queue and making sure tickets are assigned and handled appropriately depending on the need of the client, taking over servicedesk manager responsibilities while our manager is out. I'm also the primary tech for our webservices product dealing with dns, ptr records, setting up domains, and have done some web design modifications for some clients. I also help our IT managers when they need it and still go onsite if needed.
