Hunter offered the experience and expertise of a big agency with the speed, flexibility, creativeness and value of a boutique agency.The team at Hunter Communications specialised in strategic communications, reputation management and stakeholder engagement for clients which ranged from small local businesses to some of the nation's most recognised brands. Hunter’s approach was integrated, hands-on, creative, strategic and energetic. Our goal was to deliver great commercial and communications outcomes for our clients.As Agency Director I not only supported a wide range of wonderful clients on a daily basis, but also managed our consulting team and the day to day operations of the agency.

Brightwater is a leading not-for-profit provider of aged care, disability and retirement services that has been part of the Western Australian community for over 120 years.My role with Brightwater saw me managing the strategic communications efforts - both to enhance Brightwater's external reputation but to also lead internal communications for over 2600 employees across 24 different locations.I led Brightwater through the Covid-19 pandemic, setting up all communications channels, leading the communications and playing an integral part in the Pandemic Response Team.

Hola PR was an award winning, boutique public relations and marketing consultancy based in Perth, Western Australia.Clients included LWP Property Group, Pindan, Red Nose, GIVIT, Barminco, Cranecorp Australia, Perth College, RealMark Coastal, Xceed Real Estate and daniel(ink).

I was part of a dynamic group of seven businesses who formed a unique joint venture aimed at helping SME's with their online presence. This partnership saw me work with a larger to team to deliver expert online marketing services to clients - from Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation, Web Development and Web Design - as well as online marketing training programmes. The Achieve More Online team also was involved in presenting online marketing workshops through various agencies.

Soapbox PR was an award winning boutique, full service public relations and marcomms agency. Soapbox PR represented a diverse number of industries and clients including those in the property, construction, infrastructure, not for profit, retail and health sectors. Soapbox PR was established in January 2011 as a merger between Soapbox Communications and Louise Richardson & Associates and together with my business partner we grew Soapbox into an amazing agency during its 4 year life, culminating in being named in the Top 10 WA PR agencies in the 2014 Business News book of lists and the 2014 winner of the Swan Chamber of Commerce Professional Services Award.

Louise Richardson + Associates was a boutique Public Relations consultancy providing a dedicated service to the Perth business, local government and not-for-profit sectors. As Account Manager, it was my job to look after a number of LRA's clients on a day to day basis.

Soapbox Communications was a boutique public relations and marketing communications consultancy - and my first foray into consultancy. As the Owner and Principal Consultant of Soapbox Communications I worked with a variety of clients to create and implement innovative PR and Marketing Communications strategies.

I worked at Curtin University as a sessional staff member teaching public relations units to undergraduate students. I loved working at Curtin and being able to share my passion for PR.

I held various positions whilst working with Tube Lines in London, England. I started working with London Underground and was involved in the internal communications campaign to transfer existing London Underground employees to Tube Lines under the Public Private Partnership for the Underground. I also worked in Project Communications for Tube Lines, which included community consultation and media liaison on key projects.

I once again worked in various positions during my time with Alcoa. I began in Corporate Relations in a graduate position, largely looking after corporate publications and managing a database of key stakeholders. During this time I also assisted in internal communications across refineries and minesites on an as needed basis. I soon moved to Wagerup Refinery where I took up the role of Community Relations Officer, managing community consultation, media, sponsorship and stakeholder relations on behalf of the refinery. This included the management of numerous high profile issues for the company at the time.

I worked at Guides Victoria (part of the Girl Guides of Australia) in the role of public relations as my first position upon graduation and working for a not for profit was a great lesson in creativity early on. Key responsibilities were media relations, organising events and assisting in the development of publications.
