I joined the BSI advisory team as an instructional aid to SI 300, Career and Internship Studio, and peer coach for incoming BSI students. I guide incoming students through their internship or career search by pulling from personal experience, providing and assisting with resources for best practices, and exploring the characteristics of employment that will satisfy the unique goals and desires of each individual student. I have been so fulfilled by this position as I get to indulge my love for interpersonal connection and service through advising appointments and resume and materials reviews. The Cheers team created a high-functioning prototype of a video conferencing application targeted towards older adults for easier connection. Our process consisted of rigorous user tests, collaboration with community partners, and design presentations.

I managed group finances and organized auditions, concert preparation, and retreat planning. I also lead executive board meetings and acted as the group liaison to the Michigan A Cappella Council.

Turning Green is a women-led environmental non-profit that offers three programs: Project Green Challenge, Conscious Kitchen, and Project Green Course. As a intern for Project Green Challenge, I focused on preparations for the 30 day environmental conscientiousness competition. I founded hundreds of new global contacts in 30 countries and obtained over 50 new sponsorship agreements with environmentally friendly producers. I conducted rigorous research as to the credentials of these producers in all areas of environmental sustainability. I also increased the internal efficiency of Turning Green by automating the database systems with Python code, eliminating weeks worth of manual work. I am now a conscious consumer and environmental spokesperson after numerous trainings in sustainability, major environmental issues, and DEI, some of which I lead.

Teacher of mixed-media art to 4-7 year old students. Created original art projects for days Monday-Friday and instructed students in various mediums such as watercolor, pastel, acrylics, and fabrics. Worked with a team of assistants to supervise the students and set-up/break-down the work space each day. Absolutely loved showing the students how to express their unique personalities in their work and getting to know each of them.

I organized and presided over new member initiation, ritual ceremonies, and formal chapter meetings. Additionally, I chronicled the annual chapter history and brief national headquarters while coordinating with alumni and district representatives. I coordinated with the rest of the executive board through weekly executive board meeting and with the chapter at weekly chapter meetings.
