I work in data and systems management along with assisting in-person and virtual student programming and student visa knowledge for international students in the field of International Student and Scholar Services, I am also adept in the areas of coaching/ facilitation, curriculum development, community building, and research/data collection. I was awarded a 2-year Fellowship as a part of the NAFSA: Association of International Educators' inaugural RISE (Representation, Inclusion, Support, and Empowerment) professional development program for 2020-2021. As a part of this Fellowship, I have presented at conferences and worked locally in my office to increase the capacity of LGBTQIA2S+ in professional networking and support. I am currently a PhD student at the California Institute of International Studies in their Transformative Studies program. I also hold an International Masters degree in Adult Education for Social Change from the combined programs at the University of Glasgow, University of Malta, Open University of Cyprus and Tallinn University as well as a Bachelor's degree in Community and International Development from the University of Vermont. I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer having served in the Philippines 2014-2016 after which I was awarded the Erasmus Mundus scholarship to fund my master's educational program.I also have experience successfully supporting and working with international, multi-cultural and otherwise diverse groups of people. I enjoy organizing and working creatively on teams of people from a broad range of backgrounds and paradigms. I am passionate about facilitating participatory-based learning in intentional, sustainable learning environments both online and in-person. It is important to me to have work that I can immerse myself in where I can continue my life long goals of always learning and teaching both independently and as a part of a team.
