Program Officer
Current- Mentoring young men in grades 6th - 12th - Responsible for preparing and delivering speeches to community groups and conferences focusing on organization’s current fundraising campaigns and workshops- Coordinating and presenting at staff meetings; conducting new employee orientation, arranging and assisting in on-the-job training - Conventions, and conferences discussing the mission, vision, and values of the organization- Executing the publicity and planning for ongoing online campaigns and yearly fundraising events, accumulating over $17,000 in total funds raised- Facilitating “Behind the Mask” workshops for over 10,000 participants at over 60 different events- Creating training manuals and workshop materials for staff, volunteers, and participants - Managing organization’s partner relationships through volunteer outreach and social media management- Coordinated 2 consecutive SOCAL College Tours comprised of more than 25 first generation college students each year. - Executed the full production of the 14th Annual "24 Hour Relay" challenge to provide youth with a safe, fun community building opportunity in alcohol, tobacco and substance free space; over 100 student participants with over 80 volunteers supporting the event.
