• Full accountability for full cycle payroll utilizing Empower (ECI) and Paylocity products for 150 employees in 5 office locations.• Coordinate and track FMLA and short term disability.• Work directly with finance to ensure general ledger accounts are mapped and feeding correctly. • Use high level problem solving skills to research and solve any issues relating to payroll or benefits for our team. • Responsible for ACA year-end reporting.• Administering retirement plans including 401Ks and ESOP.• Complete fringe benefit payrolls for shareholders that requires knowledge of tax laws.• Complete year-end processes.• Responsible for benefits administration including new hires, termination, changes and education of staff on offerings. • Effectively evaluate plans to ensure company needs are being met and recommend necessary changes.• Full responsibility of HRIS system including payroll conversion process and mapping of all items for conversion. • Responsible for open enrollment activities including working with carriers, developing communication plans and ensuring all employees are enrolled correctly for their chosen benefit options. • Ensure voluntary offerings are handled appropriately and enrollments happen in a timely manner. • Direct oversight of three Administration team members. Ensure company needs are supported and team is fully operational in meeting company objectives.• Assists Director with staff relations activities and employee relations.
