I’ve found that, as a leader, I love promoting people yet I’m awful at promoting myself. So, here’s my one public opportunity to describe to you a little bit about who I am, my work, and what I love. ABOUT ME: ♦ I’ve led teams and participated in teams, through busy times, tough times, and happy times - as a team, we’ve succeeded together in ways our organization couldn’t anticipate. ♦ I find it rewarding when I am afforded opportunities to lead my team, or myself, towards learning the “why” or “how” we are changing or growing towards something that directly correlates to and achieves our company’s mission and vision. Doing so through personal/professional development, training, communication, networking, and continuous process improvement energizes me. ♦ I thrive off of learning new things. I’m a firm believer that, no matter what level in the company you are positioned, there is always something to learn and ways to better yourself. It benefits not only you, but those who work with you and ultimately, the company you work for.♦ I have a keen eye towards improving any policy, processes, and diversity, equity, and inclusion weaknesses affecting an organization.♦ If the boss wants something done thoroughly, they come to me. I’ve been told by many that they don’t want to be in my position because of the amount of personal time and effort that goes into producing the well-researched, detailed, and creative work products that I’m asked for. ♦ I’ve been humbled and honored by my leaders and peers on more than one occasion with awards recognizing my leadership and ability to bring teams across the finish line together (heart emoji).♦ As a U.S. Veteran, I not only have absolute pride in my country, but I inherently have loyalty and devotion to those I work with and for. ♦ You wouldn’t be able to detect that I have a cheesy sense of humor in an interview, but if we worked together on a project for three months, it’d be clear.♦ I’m always striving for strategic professional and personal alliances.
