In 1990 my father, best friend and fishing pal, suddenly died. I was devastated. He was only 58 years old, younger than I am now! I was in my second year of a part time, five year degree course as well as having a full time demanding job and a family. Mentally, I had to start again and learned to have a 'can do' attitude, focussing on the important elements in my life, and grateful for what I had.Ten years later, I had no idea, but my wife was having an affair. The next year was a living nightmare. The home I’d provided, everything was all taken away. My ex-wife even had half my future Police pension, up front! I had nowhere to live and was left with absolutely nothing. But, I got on with life and in less than a year I had been promoted. In 2010, I completed my 30 years service and re-married. I started part-time private investigation into insurance claims. It was a zero hours contract and I was earning peanuts, so in 2015, I started MLM.
