My role as a Java Developer centered on modernizing an outdated system by integrating Java 11 and transitioning from IBM MQ to Apache Kafka. I successfully applied the Chain of Responsibility pattern, enhancing the system's ability to handle processes more efficiently. Faced with a tight deadline, my focused approach and effective planning were key in achieving the seamless upgrade, which not only improved system performance but also facilitated future maintenance.This project showcased my skills in executing complex migrations promptly while adapting to the fast-paced nature of agile development.

In this project, I was pivotal to the development of key microservices, focusing on creating a seamless archival system using Azure Storage Account and MongoDB. My role involved building a robust API and managing the interaction flow with Azure services, ensuring users could effortlessly access files stored in various locations. Leveraging Java 17 and Spring Boot, I implemented and maintained high standards of code quality and system reliability.

In my role as a Developer on this project, a sophisticated web system for managing bookings, I led the design and implementation of RESTful microservices using Java 11 and Spring Boot, ensuring end-to-end involvement from grooming to testing.My background in Quality Assurance was instrumental in elevating the project's standards, evident through my initiatives like developing cucumber feature tests from scratch, enhancing Jenkins pipelines, and identifying critical bugs in previous releases.A key highlight was my contribution to the bookings change history feature, where I successfully integrated multiple microservices within a Kafka queue for real-time tracking of booking modifications, significantly improving the system's efficiency and reliability.

In my role as a Backend Java Developer on this project, I was responsible for developing RESTful microservices using Java 11, Spring WebFlux, Kafka, and CosmosDB, a non-relational document-oriented database.My involvement spanned the full story lifecycle, encompassing grooming, development, and validation through testing. The project aimed to centralize inventory across various stores and warehouses, enhancing e-commerce and online order fulfillment efficiencies. I focused on ensuring data consistency, availability, and optimizing the critical path, while leveraging a technology stack that included Java, Spring, Gradle, REST, and Microservices.This experience honed my skills in creating scalable and responsive backend services, a testament to my proficiency in areas like reactive programming, API design, and event-driven architecture.
