I am a passionate geographer enjoying the challenge of my new role as lead practitioner, developing the curriculum in my geography department and across the Trust, whilst supporting excellent teaching and learning across the whole school. I love to use my extensive travel experience and love of my subject to bring my lessons to life for pupils and motivate my colleagues to deliver powerful knowledge to all our students. In my roles as a teacher and educational researcher I have led and contributed to a variety of school-wide initiatives, as well as managing my own research, promoting high quality student outcomes and driving forward professional development. Utilising excellent communication skills, I have developed and maintained successful professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. In previous roles I have had responsibility for whole-school provisions including equality and diversity, bullying, pupil leadership and restorative justice as well as PSHE and PD.
