The Brilliant Club is a national charity which mobilises PhD tutors to support disadvantaged students to access and succeed within highly competitive universities.Within this role I:-Manage a team of officers and oversee the delivery and development of bespoke access and success projects which meet the partners' needs and contribute towards the charity's Join The Club five year strategy, including a large scale government defence and security funded project-Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard, including process evaluation and improvement-Manage external stakeholder relationships including higher education institutions, multi-academy trusts and other not for profit organisations-Ensure team processes fit in with the wider organisation, liaising with management from other teams to ensure our needs are considered at all times-Line manage three Senior Project Officers including supporting their individual professional development-Create written project proposals, agreements and costings and ensure projects are all compliant with the charity's legal and data management protocol

The Plus Programme is an on course support programme for students at the University of Leeds from non traditional backgrounds including those who have completed various contextual admissions programmes. We also support care leaver and estranged students, refugee students and some mature learners.My role includes:-Project management of various schemes, events and activities such as mentoring for BAME students and our wide ranging work to support estranged and care leaver students.-Management of a team member-Focus on retention and transition of Plus Programme students in line with the targets set through the university's Access and Particpation Plan-Secretary role for the university's Taught Student Financial Impact group-Operational lead working to deliver over 140 new undergraduate scholarships annually including assessment of applications, financial reporting and communication with students and alumni and stewardship team-Overseeing the programme's Opportunities Fund -Evaluation of activities and events to ensure there are positive outcomes for students and budgets are used accordingly-Operational lead for transitional actitivities for incoming Plus Programme students- Line management responsibilities

Part time secondment to support Dr Bridgette Bewick in analysis and write-up ofdata collected as part of programme of scholarship that aims to understand how wecan facilitate belonging and embed compassion into the university experience.

Working within the National Collaborative Outreach Programme at Go Higher West Yorkshire who aim to raise aspirations of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and increase participation rates in HE.I support a team of 14 Higher Education Progression Officers around Bradford and Calderdale with the delivery of the NCOP project through responsibilities including:• Decision making about the use of their outreach budgets • Supporting admin and reporting requirements and processing and collating monthly figures to report to the Office for Students• Supporting, planning and delivering outreach activities with target students from low participation areasI have also project managed external suppliers and oversee the organisation of multiple collaborative taster days.
