Lucy Lantz completed a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa in 2005. Her P.Eng application is in progress with EGBC. Lucy is currently working with Transport Canada as a Regulatory Development Engineer. Previously, she worked with the Public Health Agency of Canada, providing project management support to the Bio-manufacturing & Pandemic Vaccine and Immunization Policy (BPVIP) Division. As a engineering consultant with the Corrpro Canada, Lucy project managed, designed, installed and analyzed cathodic protection systems. Previous to that, Lucy worked at WorleyParsons managing projects and designing mechanical engineering work packages consisting of in-field assessments, design specifications, isometric drawings, piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) redlines, welding requirements, non-destructive examination practices, pressure testing calculations, valve selection, coating requirements and safety considerations. At International Safety Research, Lucy’s team developed custom emergency management software and hardware solutions for the nuclear industry both nationally and internationally.
