Hi, I’m Luis! I’m a junior student at the University of California, Berkeley majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EE.CS). During my freshman year, I discovered a passion for building GUIs. This spark of curiosity took me through an exciting journey of hackathons, industry, and side project experiences revolving around full-stack web development. Thanks to my collaborative experiences and my most recent internship at The Commons XR, I’ve learned the stages of the software development lifecycle and the key practices for a supportive and productive work environment.After taking upper-division classes, I discovered that it’s not particularly the web that I like creating, but I am in love with the process of designing and building solutions using programming.Most recently, I’ve been exploring graph data modeling. I’m amazed at how insightful graph analytics algorithms are! In my next academic years, I’m looking forward to delving deeper into this area and contributing to the evolution of the field.In my spare time, I’m a casual tennis player and a landscape photographer newbie.
