Luisa Fernanda has been working on television since 1989, when she began her career in Mexico as a host and as an original member of Garibaldi, the successful music group, her looks garnered the attention of some model agencies, soon, she was named one of the top fifty most beautiful women of México. In 1994, she left the music group to start a TV Radio and Theatre Career. From 1990 to 1998, she worked in many telenovelas for Televisa, including international super hits mainly geared towards Latin American teenagers. Also she was a cast member of one of the most successful theatre comedy plays in Mexico for over five years and participated in several other different plays through the years and has participated as a director assistant in others.In 2000, she moved to the United States to work at the Home Shopping Network's Spanish channel. Less than a year in the US, she was hired by Telemundo/NBC to host the network morning show but soon after she was cast to co-host the network entertainment news show. Apart from covering daily show business news, she has also covered live special events in Los Angeles, California, Mexico, New York, Texas and Puerto Rico, among many other places.In June 2007, she left the NBC Universal owned network and in September of same year she got signed by Telemundo/NBC's longtime rival Univision Network Group to co-animate two radio-talk show’s. Same year she was signed by the leading Spanish internet portal in US and Latin America Terra.com as the network special celebrity correspondent.As of February 2012, she went back to Mexico City to co-host a prime time nightly show on Azteca America a TV Azteca owned Network where she also was a recurrent guest co-host on the national network morning show. On August same year she return to the Us and got signed again by Univision to join their Radio Platform as the female counterpart on the most successful morning show in Univision Radio Stations, running nationwide.
