Luis I. Gómez, MBS, is founder at INDAGO GmbH (2003 - present), a diagnostics company based in Leipzig, Germany. His interests are in developmental diagnostics for early detection of cancer diseases and is developing a non-invasive blood screening method for the early identification of patients at risk for cancer in colon, lung, breast and liver that has higher sensitivity than current screening techniques. He has consulted for companies such as Lüft Gmbh, Bioscientia Labor, Evomed and Ackermann Labor. He research on the implementation of intravacuolar metabolites as diagnostic tools. Before this, he was Chief Scientific Manager at various companies, most recently Mediversal Sarl (1998 - 2003), and previously Orgamedica SL (1995 - 1998), and Servamed GmbH (1991 - 1995). Since 2015 he is director of the "Master in Environmental Economics" at the Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
