Serves as the Operational Planning Exercise Analyst. Coordinate and provide operational and tactical level exercise planning while supporting multiple defensive weapon systems and capabilities. Provides key strategy-to-task input in operational planning processes and deliberate and crisis action planning and exercises support to Wing readiness exercises, AF exercises and Joint exercises. Integrate Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) and Cyberspace Defense Analysis (CDA) capabilities into the 688 Cyberspace Military Exercise Program. Conducts, attend and assist weekly and quarterly wing Exercise Coordination Team meetings to identify and prioritize exercises support. Identify training gaps with multiple organizations to better accommodate units’ training needs. Implement Lessons Learned from previous exercise events, incorporating inputs from units into submitted Exercise Coordination Documents. Coordinate and make recommendations to the Wing leadership command team on training gaps and proposal development to prepare for varying adversaries. Review higher headquarters operational policies, network standard operating procedures (SOP), directives, and Rules of Engagement (ROE) for 688 CW units. Record meeting minutes and provided relevant feedback via written communication to the Government of all meetings/reviews/boards/conferences attended, and maintain an appropriate electronic Government approved shared location.

Serve as Operation Security (OPSEC) Planner supporting the Joint Information Operation Warfare Center (JIOWC), providing OPSEC expertise for the Joint staff, Combatant Commands (CCMD’s) and their Task Forces in planning, training, security education and program assessments for all joint exercises, programs, policies, and methods. As primary Instructor and trainer, maintains training records and/or develop training reports for department files and determines instructional methods, approaches, and time schedules of instruction. Conducts OPSEC in-depth open source research to analyze organization Critical Information Indicators List (CIIL) and identify any vulnerability information on public domains. Assist CCMD’s OPSEC Program Managers (OPM) to establish, implement and administer measures on all Information and Personnel security programs related with improving security education. Provides OPSEC specific analytical reports to support vulnerability assessments, OPSEC training and program review. Maintains training proficiency supporting the Joint OPSEC Support Element (JOSE). Assisted the CCMDs and JTF Commanders in planning and developing defensive OPSEC strategies supporting various Global Campaign exercises.
