•Perform forensic analysis and investigations of security related data from a wide range of security devices and customer environments to provide Incident Response (IR) support for High Risk Security Events•Investigate security events while meeting SLA requirements - In-depth analysis during limited time frames while handling multiple events at any given time in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment•Utilize valuable pivots to gather crucial artifacts from a myriad of log sources and provide context on events such as - Malware, Web Attack, Authentication, Access Auditing, DoS, Phishing, etc.•Constantly expand my knowledge and understanding of cyber risks and threats related to cyber attackers to facilitate the analysis process•Perform analytics driven investigations of most common rules and False positives to improve accuracy of alerts through modifications of Rule Logic (Tuning, Building Blocks, SPL)•Utilize a wide range of security technologies from hundreds of unique customer environments including SIEMs ( RSA|Secure Analytics,Splunk, LogRhythm, ArcSight, IBM QRadar, and McAfee), Enhanced monitoring tools (CrowdStrike, CarbonBlack, DarkTrace), IDS/IPS, Endpoint Solutions, DLP, etc.
