• Perform forensic analysis and investigations of security related data from a wide range of security devices and customer environments to provide Incident Response (IR) support for High Risk Security Events
• Investigate security events while meeting SLA requirements - In-depth analysis during limited time frames while handling multiple events at any given time in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment
• Utilize valuable pivots to gather crucial artifacts from a myriad of log sources and provide context on events such as - Malware, Web Attack, Authentication, Access Auditing, DoS, Phishing, etc.
• Constantly expand my knowledge and understanding of cyber risks and threats related to cyber attackers to facilitate the analysis process
• Perform analytics driven investigations of most common rules and False positives to improve accuracy of alerts through modifications of Rule Logic (Tuning, Building Blocks, SPL)
• Utilize a wide range of security technologies from hundreds of unique customer environments including SIEMs ( RSA|Secure Analytics,Splunk, LogRhythm, ArcSight, IBM QRadar, and McAfee), Enhanced monitoring tools.
