I’m currently employed at Auburn Heights Preserve where I’m not only an Interpretive Naturalist, but I’m initiating and developing social media presence and promotion. I specifically promote Preserve events through Facebook and Instagram, creating the content, including text and photos, as well as scheduling when each post is to be published. I also reach out to other organizations on a regular basis to collaborate on event planning and promotion. This includes placement of Preserve events in newsletters and event promotion on their social media. Along with this, I use social media to engage and recruit volunteers for Preserve programs and events. I’ve specifically been spearheading the social media promotion and communications/public relations for our Yorklyn Day event, which will be substantially large and well attended. Developing prospect lists and contacting potential vendors, exhibitors, or boosters/sponsors for this event has also been part of my responsibilities. On top of this, I’ve coordinated the Yorklyn Day event promotional literature content with the Senior Designer and Publications Project Manager of Delaware State Parks.

I specifically worked at the DuPont Environmental Education Center. I wrote, edited, and updated various professional documents. I also made posts on their social media platforms, including pictures, videos, and caption writing. Along with this, I helped make and edit promotional/informative videos. Furthermore, I attended table events in the city where I represented and promoted DEEC/Delaware Nature Society. -Professional writing-Proof reading-Editing-Social Media-Attending events and promoting
