Level 3 apprenticeship in engineering technical support. Set to take 4 years completed in 3.51st year included learning milling, turning, bench fitting techniques and I also learnt some basic CNC milling.The 2nd year consisted of a variety of placements around the business including machining, welding, inspection, fitting and assembly and repair and overhaul.The 3rd and 4th years are when I honed my chosen trade, which was inspection. I learned things such as manual measuring and have received in house training on portable CMMs and Laser trackers along with their relevant software.
