Today I'm most passionate about really understanding an organization's structure, core business, and mission, and using communication in many ways to drive business results and build a fulfilling culture. Examples of ways I contribute to organizations include:- Working with strategic communication development and execution at every organizational level, from the local project level to the global corporate level. - Connecting with leaders to grasp a broad range of business challenges with quality and speed, and applying core communication skills to help business development initiatives deliver better results faster.- Executing core external communication activities such as press releases, press briefings, media pitches, media relations, and media/speaker preparation, with excellent messaging skills. - Implementing and managing all major internal communication channels: Intranet (SharePoint), company meetings, social media (Yammer, Twitter, LinkedIn), newsletters, video, briefing packages, notice boards, and information screens.- Leading communication in crisis situations. CHANGE MANAGEMENT - Delivering excellent results in change situations by applying structured models, planning, and people-focused communication. Change situations have included major corporate mergers, location openings and closures, workforce reductions, compensation changes, organizational restructuring, and more. (Change models include the four-step model of change, the ADKAR model, the Kubler-Ross Change Curve, and diffusion of innovations.)FACILITATION AND LEARNING- Supporting business teams with facilitation techniques to help them clarify purpose, nurture dialogue to find points of connection between stakeholders, and enable collaboration. I have facilitated business and strategy planning sessions for executive teams, management meetings, project planning sessions, and communication training/workshops.LEADERSHIP- I am a visible and trusted organizational leader with the right mix of experience, knowledge, and intuition to connect authentically with a wide range of people, from co-workers to executives. I have 15 years of experience working in cross-functional regional and global executive teams.
