Through working with The Gentry Agency I had the opportunity to help coordinate press and run media check in at Comic Con (Fan Expo Dallas) in May and October of 2015 and February of 2016. At the events I was responsible for issuing media passes as well as escorting select media outlets throughout the venue to feature exhibits that would be potentially newsworthy. In June of 2015 I assisted with Taste of Dallas, an event that displays the best of the Dallas areas food and beverage vendors. My day to day included creating press pitches to promote client brands, events, and special projects.
