Through working with The Gentry Agency I had the opportunity to help coordinate press and run media check in at Comic Con (Fan Expo Dallas) in May and October of 2015 and February of 2016. At the events I was responsible for issuing media passes as well as escorting select media outlets throughout the venue to feature exhibits that would be potentially newsworthy. In June of 2015 I assisted with Taste of Dallas, an event that displays the best of the Dallas areas food and beverage vendors. At the event I assisted with escorting media as well as attending local morning news stations (Good Morning Texas,CBS, ABC) with celebrity chefs to promote their brand and our event. Lastly I was responsible for providing content for all social media channels throughout the duration of the event, especially at our VIP celebrity chef exhibition.

At Jane Owen PR I was an Account Executive responsible for creating and managing PR campaigns for an array of clients from different industries; Hollie Cavanagh (American Idol), Laura Bryna (Grammy-Nominated Country Music Star), Ali Chapman (Freakshow AMC), KM Fine Arts Los Angeles (Contemporary Art Gallery), Exofab (iphone skin), Wonderloop (Social Media App), BritWeek (Cultural Festival).As an Account Executive my roles included writing an expanse of press releases for individual clients, events, and businesses. My day to day included creating press pitches to promote client brands, events, and special projects. In addition to press pitches, clients were submitted to relevant red carpet events, charity galas, gifting suites, conferences etc. which I would attend with my client to ensure they were comfortable and made valuable business connections. On top of caring for clientele I was part of a team of account executives responsible for all aspects of event coordination. Events ranged from charity galas, red carpet events, gifting suites, product launch parties and mixers. We were tasked with scouting venues, sourcing sponsors, organizing guest lists, and media & VIP lists. At each event I oversaw setup as well as red carpet management, coordinating photographers and talent. At Dataworkforce I was responsible for social media management and daily blog entries for multiple brands. I also updated websites and blog entries daily using Word Press. I wrote sales copy for online media such as landing pages, call to action requests and subscription-based emails. Through my efforts, I Increased website traffic by 250% using Social Media.

As Staff Writer/ Entertainment Writer I assisted the senior entertainment writer as well as submitted my own articles that were published by the site.
