About Luke Edwards
Customer-focused, relational engineer with a strong desire to do all of my work with excellence, no matter the task. In my current role representing the IS4S Position, Navigation, and Timing team in Huntsville, I get to work daily with world-class PNT experts to transition promising technology from the research lab to the field. My particular focus is software defined GPS receivers with a specialty in the real-time implementation of advanced tracking algorithms.Before that, I enjoyed 7+ years of experience solving complex real-time control systems and mechatronics problems, leveraging every angle of the MATLAB/Simulink suite at my disposal. I am still able to support this project on an as needed basis; it is immensely rewarding to have the opportunity to support our warfighters at home and abroad.I had the opportunity to study under Dr. David Bevly at Auburn University in the GPS and Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory (AU-GAVLAB). That's where the training wheels came off. It's always been a dream to get back into designing SDRs for PNT.
