I run a small business on Ebay, selling curtain and blind accessories. I started doing this with my mother, a self employed curtain maker showed me all of the spare bits of curtain accessories she had and told me about how alot of the time she will buy these off of Ebay. So I set up an Ebay page and have been selling curtain accessories over the past summer. This has helped me to learn about inventory management as well as product shipping and dealing with any customer issues or order mishaps which may occur.

I worked this role throughout the COVID 19 pandemic. During my time here I have become a very trusted colleague and have worked in almost every role within the store, gaining recognition from my managers as a trustworthy and hard working individual.Through this role I have been able to harness my communication and team skills as well as boosting my exposure to dealing with and selling to the public. Although this job is not particularly skilful I have found it has made me much better at dealing with customer interactions, complaints and boosted my teamworking skills
