To oversee a business with a turnover in excess of £15 million for both collect and delivered sales, with full autonomy over budget and KPI’s • To build new and develop existing customer relationships through high commercial acumen.• To make commercial decisions, understand the competition, react to changing trends and offer a point of difference. • To ensure operational standards, legal compliance and health and safety policy are maintained through the direct management of the branch manager and department managers. • The achievement of the stores financial targets including KPI’s for both collect and delivered sales. • Driving sales and profit through - Strong merchandising levels - Strong customer relationships and business partnerships - Strong interpersonal / man management skills - Strong organisational and planning skills

• To manage 13 stores with a combined weekly turnover in excess of £650,000. • To guide and coach each store manager to maintain operational efficiency to achieve and exceed sales targets.• To take full responsibility of financial targets and ensure each store remains within company guidelines and expectations.• To collate and provide constructive feedback regarding store standards and areas of store management.• To maintain and improve standards of customer service in all areas of the business. • To develop an effective network of communication to ensure shared knowledge and understanding of business issues and areas of concern.• To have an in-depth understanding of the market so each store can maintain competitive awareness by continuously monitoring the competition and then reacting accordingly to maintain our business advantage.• To work in conjunction with store managers to attract and recruit new staff members and ensure the full implementation of induction programmes and monitor on going performance.

• Accountable for the P + L of the Store• The achievement of the stores financial targets including KPI’s • Driving sales and profit through - Strong merchandising levels - Ensuring all aspects of loss prevention are understood by all staff - Strong interpersonal / man management skills - Strong organisational and planning skills• To build strong working relationships with sales managers and buyers to ensure quality of product and strong availability across all areas of the store.• To ensure all departments are fully compliant with statutory laws relating to retail i.e. Health and Safety and trading standards, whilst ensuring the welfare of all customers and staff.• Committed to the highest levels of customer service and retail standards.• To manage in excess of 320 staff members and ensure the store develops through excellent staff training and development.
