Working as an ambassador for the Office of Engineering Professional Practice:- Assist engineering students in preparation for internship/co-op opportunities via resume critiques, interview practice, degree plans, etc.- Represent Office through classroom presentations, working the campus career fair, company drop-ins, and weekly office hours.

- Developed a new process for dealing with inventory totes with liquid damage spills in the Automatic Storage Racking System (ASRS) for Walmart’s Next-Gen Fulfillment Centers (FC).- Analyzed the key process steps including removing, cleaning, and re-inducting totes from the ASRS. Analysis included time studies and observing the current process in action.- Collaborated with experts from engineering, operations, finance, outside vendors to understand the problem and evaluate 7 possible solutions. Collected and analyzed data from Pilot Site (0.02M totes) to estimate number of dirty totes per day at full scale (1.8M totes).- Implemented automated industrial tote washing machine to eliminate need for third party manual tote cleaning services resulting in $350k annual savings with 2.3 year payback period.- Identified tote removal improvements by addressing immediate tote removal after a spill. Improved operator efficiency, tote lifting ergonomics, and decreased number of associates for removing dirty totes. - Increased operator productivity by reducing possible dirty tote locations from 96 to 3. - Project recommendations were approved and will be implemented at the Indianapolis fulfillment center.

- Worked alongside a project management team as well as with subcontractors, field staff, and owners’ representatives to aid in the successful setup, execution, and closeout of a manufacturing expansion project for Royal Canin in Lebanon, TN- Responsible for creating meeting agendas, updating addendums, quality control processes, coordinating scheduling, and helping with a submittal and RFI process.
