As the Complex Director in the Office of Residence Life at Emory University, I oversee one of the largest residence halls and lead a dedicated team of 31 student staff members. With over six years of experience at this institution, where I graduated with high honors in 2022, I bring a deep understanding of our community’s unique needs and challenges.My professional journey at Emory began with roles focused on Residential Education and event coordination, overseeing event funding and planning. I continue to build on this foundation, having successfully drafted and implemented a proposal to overhaul our residential education engagement strategy, based on comprehensive data and annual reports that I have authored. A significant milestone was leading the Pre-College program as the Student Life Director, where I managed over 400 student attendees and 18 members of student staff. In my current role as Complex Director, I continue this work throughout the academic year.I am fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish, and I maintain my passion for language acquisition through regular conversation hours around campus. My current commitment is to making a meaningful impact within student affairs, but I maintain a goal of continuing my own education.
