I have worked at FiiZ Drinks Stansbury as an experienced Shift Leader since November 2021 and a dedicated team member since November 2020. I work in a fast-paced environment offering quality customer service. With my team, I quickly make and serve drinks, pretzels, cookie dough, and other treats. I do my best to give customers a good experience by making orders quickly and accurately, refunding when needed, and remaking drinks when possible.As shift leader, I manage and lead a team of coworkers and assign shift positions. I complete refunds and nightly cash drop, and ensure all tasks are complete and all work and service areas are clean and organized. I open and close the store. My shift lead responsibility also includes receiving, organizing, and putting away shipment and ensuring phone calls are answered in a timely and professional manner, putting customers first. By working in this position, I have strongly developed and improved my leadership skills and have learned more about business management. I have gained responsibility and improved my scheduling and time management skills, as well as professionalism.

Through my internship, I regularly helped in a second grade class. I helped students one-on-one with math and language arts assignments and flashcard review. I prepped lesson materials, made and cut out copies, organized and assembled worksheet packets, and helped with recess duty.

For two full school years one class period every other day I participated in my high school's lab preschool. This gave me the opportunity to regularly teach and carry out developmentally appropriate activities. I cared for and supervised preschool-age children and additionally created preschool activity and lesson plans. I collaborated with fellow student teachers, delegated lessons, and worked as part of a team.This opportunity gave me a great amount of experience with kids and enabled me to learn effective teaching and positive behavior reinforcement techniques. In this role, I was able to learn the importance of building positive personal relationships with my students first-hand. I loved participating in this hands-on teaching experience and I'm so grateful for my time in Little Stallions Preschool!
