About Lylia Saurel

Hi there!I currently balance my time between two roles: I work with the Earth for Life team at WWF and serve as the Social Media & Event Manager for the Undergraduate Program in Sustainable Development at Columbia University. In both positions, I leverage my communication, journalism, and climate expertise to create impactful content focused on conservation and sustainability.I recently earned my master degree in Climate & Society from the Columbia Climate School, where I completed the technical component as an Environmental Research and Communications Intern at Browning Environmental Communications. In that role, I supported and implemented media strategies for climate campaigns with clients including UNDP, Canopy Planet, SEIA, CEBA, IUCN, and Conservation International.Passionate about cultures and having traveled to over 20 countries, I thrive in multicultural environments. Fluent in French and English, and conversational in Spanish, I bring a global perspective to all my work.
