The School to Work Program is an education and employment program that utilises the positive profile of the game of Rugby League to support and encourage young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to complete their schooling and successfully transition into further education and employment.

Provided players with support, guidance and care ensuring they are equipped to handle the pressures that comes with playing at an elite international level. Ensured players were provided with additional welfare support by referring players to the Team Doctor, Club Psychologist and external support services where necessary. Conducted 1:1 career counselling sessions with each of the fully contracted players, ensuring they were aware of career prospects, university studies, and networking opportunities for life after football.

Fitzroy, Melbourne

Built strong, respectful relationships with Aboriginal community groups and organisations to develop collaborative, inclusive strategies to engage and deliver quality employment outcomes for indigenous job seekers. Identified and promoted the development of specific employment and training initiatives to achieve sustainable outcomes for Indigenous candidates, and provided mentoring to further support candidates seeking employment opportunities.

Carlton North

Implemented and managed the wellbeing services of the full playing list, ensuring a positive and supportive environment was provided throughout their football career at Carlton Football Club. This included providing players with confidential in-club support, Co-ordinate regular events and functions for Players families and Partners to ensure they feel connected and welcome by the club,Identify situations requiring external support and access appropriate resources ie; AFLPA, Psychology services and Player Managers.Assisted players with day to day life management, with a view to encouraging self sufficiency and independence.

Carlton North

My responsibilities included managing the the full list of individual Player Sponsor accounts which involved over 90 clients. I also managed, implemented and developed a Visy Environmental Schools Program with over 100 school groups participating in the program per year. I also implemented a Carlton Community visitation program that provided ill or disadvantaged people visiting a closed training session, tour of the training facilities, and the opportunity to meet their heroes and role models.

My primary focus was to ensure the health and safety of all guests and fellow crew members on board. Exceptional customer service and guest care is required at all times which involves anticipating and focusing on all passengers needs and ensure they are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Lower Plenty

My main focus for this role was to provide a safe and supportive environment for children aged between 0-12 years whose families lives had been affected by drug and alcohol abuse.Responsibilities;- to provide and assist with the coordination of a high quality and innovative children's program.- to support and encourage children's ongoing development and social skills in a safe and positive environment.- to communicate and work together with parents, regarding their children's development and welfare.
