  In 2018, I was fortunate enough to move to New York, USA to begin my role as Director of Operations for GUCCI. This job means a lot to me and gives me the opportunity to work with a globally renowned fashion brand and drive business growth for the company in such an important market as the US.In this role, I am responsible for overseeing and coordinating the sales, marketing, customer service and operations of the company in the US. I am very grateful for this opportunity as it has given me an insight and experience into the unique culture and brand values of GUCCI, as well as the needs and trends of the US market and consumers.I worked with different teams including product, design, digital marketing, retail and customer experience teams. Together we worked to bring about better performance and reputation for GUCCI in the US market. We have launched many creative marketing campaigns such as launching personalised services, joining forces with local communities and participating in charity events, all of which have been well received and recognised by consumers.In this job, I have learnt a lot about how to drive sales and popularity of brands in different markets in the context of globalisation. I have also become more aware of the importance of innovation, collaboration and dedication. These values are key to success, whether it is working with colleagues or interacting with clients. Most excitingly, I have had the opportunity to witness the tremendous success of GUCCI in the US market, which has not only driven growth for the company, but also gained a greater reputation and recognition in the marketplace.
