This position was initially as an Assistant Marine Acoustic Technician, in which my duties encompassed equipment repair, testing procedures, and various administrative duties. Over time this role expanded to include electronic circuitry development with my design work implementing upgraded circuitry into our systems to remain competitive in a difficult market. My position was promoted to Acoustic Equipment Technician in 2017 in recognition of my experience and expanded job role within the department.

Temporary full-time packing work in the warehouse for Hawkin's Bazaar, packing orders for Christmas deliveries.

My responsibilities in this role were to conduct High Voltage Testing at NCL, (now API Capacitors.) This involved stress-testing capacitors under load at various stages of assembly, including voltage tests, capacitance, current and resistance. This role also included some time undertaking soldering work for capacitor assembly, as well as other tasks on the production line when additional staff were needed.

Sales of domestic electrical goods and dealing with customer service queries and complaints. This included scheduling repairs, advice on the operation of devices, and helping deal with customers unhappy with their products. The company trained us to achieve profitability through earning the trust of customers in a customer service-first mentality.
