College Flight Path is a full service boutique postsecondary planning firm that offers students (starting in 8th and 9th grade) the opportunity to explore all possible academic offering, expand their executive functioning skills, provide strategies for those heading straight to college and those charting their own course, career planning resources including administering and interpreting the Strong Interest Inventory, decision assessment, and determining the tools needed to be successful beyond ones secondary education. We aim to support students journeys through well-researched best practices and trusted relationships with industry experts.

Design and oversee all curriculum related to the SAT and ACT. I aim to support any student who needs resources throughout their school day or around their schedule. Through access to programming and materials, my philosophy in private tutoring matches "The Shipley Way" which aims to support and sustain all levels of learning by meeting students where they are and challenging them to grow to meet their best potential.

Design and implement customized curriculum for students entering into the college process. Meet with students at the outset of their process to identify needs from college counseling to SAT and ACT preparation. Help students navigate the application process and curate a list of schools that best fit their career goals.

As a school counseling intern, I have had the pleasure of working with students to identify strengths that can lead them to successful potential career paths by using a variety of tools and assessments including Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, and Holland Code. I work with students to establish coursework and schedules that help them lean into their gifts and pursue satisfying goals that are highlighted in their secondary and postsecondary planning meetings. Through college counseling endeavors, I help students identify college lists, write letters of recommendation, send transcripts, communicate with college representatives, and build relationships with admissions offices. I have also helped identify opportunities to communicate more directly with the public about operations at the school and what resources we have to leverage on behalf of students. I work with mental health professionals who help intervene when assessments are needed and supports put in place. Throughout this experience I have utilized and continue to use Naviance, Slate, eSchool, Smart Futures, and other CRM’s to support student success.

Full-time faculty member, member of an inter-disciplinary team. Daily tasks include creating inter-disciplinary lesson plans in accordance with national, state, and district standards, while carrying out traditional classroom activities by utilizing Understanding by Design (UBD), GRASPS, and Bloom’s Taxonomy models.

Grant writer, attended workshops across ten states with teachers selected from across the country. Enrolled in 12 programs over six years of involvement.

Working at NBC-Universal as an intern in the Educational group. Helped develop a website that allows teachers and students to search our database of archived media materials.
